Ninety days in, counted through August 10. Here is everything, dated.

The short version: the map is working, the phone is working, and we can finally see the website working too.

30calls from Google in July

Counted by Google
Calls trend: June 20, July 30.

One honest note before the numbers. Two systems count calls here and they count different things. Google counts taps on your profile. CallRail counts calls that came through your website. Both are real, neither is the whole picture, and we never add them together.

Your profile brought 30 calls in July, up from 20 in June, and 6 more in the first ten days of August. Google counted every one of them.

Everything below is counted, not estimated.

DONE

Every month, on the record.

Every month, something got built and the phone did something. This table puts both side by side.

74 calls counted off your Google profile, and the trend goes the right way: 18 in the back half of May, 20 in June, 30 in July, and 6 more in the first ten days of August.

The work column is what we shipped that month. You can check any of it. The fixes are live on your site, the posts are on your profile, and the citations are on the networks we named.

Your Google front door, measured.

Your Google Business Profile is the front door. When somebody in Dallas searches for a hernia surgeon on their phone, this is what they see before they ever reach your website.

The reviews are the part worth protecting. 16 reviews, 5.0 stars, and every single one has a reply. For surgery, that matters more than it does for almost any other business. A patient choosing who opens their abdomen reads every one of those.

One thing in this data is worth calling out because it looks like bad news and is not. Profile views dropped in July, from 260 down to 228. Calls went up anyway, from 20 to 30. Fewer people saw the profile and more of them picked up the phone. That is the profile doing its job better, not worse.

The receipt Profile numbers pulled fresh today, every month side by side.

Tracked Calls
LIVE

Every call, and where it came from.

This tab is new, and it is the one that closes the biggest hole in every report before this one.

Until June 25, nothing on earth could tell you how many patients called after finding you on your website. Your Google profile counted taps on its own call button, and that was it. If someone searched, read three pages about mesh revision, and then dialed the number in your header, that call was invisible to everyone including us.

There is now a tracking number on the site. Here is the first seven weeks.

13 calls. Every one of them answered. 10 from people who had never called before. 7 ran longer than two minutes, which for a surgical practice means an actual conversation rather than a wrong number. One ran twenty one minutes, and the most recent one, on the morning of August 10, ran almost fifteen.

Look at where they came from. 7 from a free Google search, 4 from a free Bing search, 2 straight to the site. Eleven of the thirteen came from search you do not pay for.

Two cautions, both important. This is seven weeks inside a ninety day report, so it is a starting line and not yet a trend. And it does not stack with the 74 profile calls. Those two systems count different things and adding them would be inventing a number.

The receipt 13 calls to your website's tracking number, counted since June 25.

Two different call numbers appear in this report and both are correct. Your Google profile counts taps on the call button on the profile itself, and that is 74 over ninety days. CallRail counts calls that came through the number on your website, and that is 13 over seven weeks. They count different things and they do not add up to one number. Nobody should try to make them.

Branded vs Non Branded
LIVE

Beyond your name, new demand.

This is the tab that explains the strategy, and it needs one paragraph of care to read correctly.

There are two ways to ask whether people are finding you for the work instead of for your name, and they give different answers. Both matter, so here is each one.

The first question is who clicked. Over the window Google named 63 clicks, and every one of them came from somebody typing your name. Bola aladegbami. Dr bola. Dr bola baylor. On that number alone, your reputation is doing all the work.

The second question is who searched. Over the same window Google put you in front of somebody 11,151 times across 1,261 different searches it was willing to name. 9,948 of those appearances, just under 9 in 10, were people searching for the work. Hernia surgeon dallas. Recurrent hernia surgeon dallas. Who is the most experienced complex hernia surgeon in dfw. These people do not know your name. They are looking for what you do, and Google is already putting you on their screen.

That is the whole picture in one line: the demand is there, you are on the board for it, and the click is still not coming. Hernia surgeon dallas showed you 1,315 times and you average spot 4.8 on it, the middle of page one, with zero clicks to show. Hernia surgery dallas showed you 482 times, and that one really is buried at spot 27. Almost 7 in 10 of the searches you rank for sit past position 50, which is page five and nobody goes to page five.

It is also growing. In your first month, 86% of your appearances were people searching the work, across 262 named searches. In the last thirty days it was 91%, across 813. Three times the search surface in ninety days.

And it is already producing calls. 11 of your 13 tracked calls came from a free Google or Bing search and 10 of those callers had never called you before. Those calls are not coming from the 63 clicks on your own name.

So the job for the next ninety days is not to create demand. It exists and it is measured above. The job is to move you up the page on the searches you already appear for, and that is done with more pages, each aimed at one real question. That is the plan at the end of this report.

The receipt Every clicked search across 90 days, split by whether they typed your name.

What this means for your phone

About 9 in 10 of the searches you turn up for are people looking for the work, not for you by name. That is 1,228 different searches in this window, and it is climbing: 86.1% of your first month, 90.6% of the last. The demand is real and Google is already showing you for it. What it is not doing yet is placing you high enough to earn the click, and that is exactly what more pages fixes.

Branded means they already knew you. Non-branded is new demand..
Keywords
LIVE

Your keywords, on the clock.

101 search terms tracked since May 11, checked again today.

The honest read on this quarter is mixed and we are not going to dress it up. Recurrent hernia surgeon dallas went from spot 6 to 3. Abdominal wall surgery dallas went from 9 to 3. Umbilical hernia repair dallas went from 12 to 6. Those are real gains on real terms, and they are the terms closest to the work you are known for.

Others went backwards, and more of them than last month. Top hernia surgeon dallas fell from 16 to 37. Hernia surgery dallas fell from 16 to 36. Inguinal hernia repair dallas fell from 11 to 24. Robotic hernia surgery dallas fell from 2 to 12. Across all 101 terms the average position slipped from 8 to 17, and 65 of them are not ranking at all. Twelve terms improved, seven declined, and the rest did not move.

Here is what is behind both directions. The terms that climbed are the ones with a real page underneath them. The terms that fell are the ones competing on content depth we have not built yet. Google spent this quarter deciding your site is technically excellent and thin on substance. It rewarded the pages with substance and demoted the ones without. That is the content bottleneck showing up in the rankings, and it is the thing the next quarter has to fix.

Three counters now, where last quarter there were two.

Your Google profile counted 74 calls. Google Search counted 175 clicks. And since June 25, CallRail counts the calls that start on your website: 13 so far.

The profile number and the website number do not add together. One counts taps on a button inside Google, the other counts calls that reached the number on your site. Different questions, different answers, both counted honestly.

There is still one thing nobody here can see. We know the phone rang and we know what sent it. We do not know which of those callers booked a consult, or which consults became cases. That lives in your scheduling system. Connecting it is the last measurement job, and it is the one that turns this page from visibility into revenue.

This is the plumbing that lets Google and AI read and trust your site.

551 fixes deployed out of 613 found, across 51 pages. The technical pillar scores 94 out of 100, up from 92 at the 60 day mark. The site is fast, clean, and readable by every system that matters.

Content scores 15 out of 100. Authority scores 8.

Those two numbers are the whole strategy for the next quarter. There is no technical work left worth doing. A site this clean with content this thin will rank for your name and struggle for everything else, which is exactly what the keyword section shows. Everything from here is depth, not plumbing.

The instinct at this stage is usually to start a blog. We are not going to do that. A blog post is read once and then slides down the feed. A procedure page is a permanent address for one specific search. It earns links, it feeds the map pack, and it is the kind of page AI systems quote when a patient asks them who to see.

You have 51 pages against 101 tracked search terms, and 65 of those terms are not ranking yet. Every page below is built to widen that footprint and to answer one search that patients are already running today.

The receipt Committed work, grouped by when. Every item names the number that produced it..

  • Rebuild the hernia surgeon Dallas page to win the click

This is the sharpest number in the report. Google showed you for hernia surgeon dallas 1,315 times across the ninety days and nobody clicked once. You average spot 4.8 on it, which is the middle of page one, and in the last thirty days you held 4.3. Being seen is not the problem anymore. What is missing is a page that earns the click once they see you: what you treat, who you treat it for, what the recovery looks like, and the proof that you do this every week. Dallas hernia surgeon and hernia doctor dallas need the same build and are further back, averaging spot 26 and 25.5, which is page three.

Why: Search shows 17,751 impressions and 175 clicks. Branded vs Non Branded shows all 63 named clicks were people typing your name, against 9,948 appearances for the work itself.
  • Build the four procedure pages the map is already asking for

We track map grids for component separation, mesh revision, mesh removal, and failed hernia repair. Those are the hardest cases in your specialty and the ones you are known for. Right now none of them has a page deep enough to rank on its own, so they lean on the general hernia page. Four dedicated procedure pages, one per operation, each written the way you would explain it in consult.

Why: Keywords shows 65 of 101 tracked terms are not ranking. Technical shows Content at 15 out of 100 against 94 on the technical side.

  • City pages for Plano, Frisco, and Fort Worth

Your Dallas maps are strong and your suburb maps are not. Fort Worth averages spot 20.9, Frisco 17.6, Plano 14.2, against 1.6 on your best Dallas map. Patients travel for complex repair, but only if the page tells them you serve them. One page per city, each with the drive, the hospital affiliation, and the procedures, not a template with the city name swapped.

Why: Map Pack: hernia surgeon fort worth tx 20.9, inguinal hernia surgery frisco 17.6, inguinal hernia surgery plano 14.2.
  • Answer pages for the AI layer

ChatGPT names you in 60% of the answers we track and Perplexity names you in none. That gap is not a ranking problem, it is a source problem. These systems quote pages that answer a question plainly and show their work. The seven tracked questions you score zero on are all the same shape, things like how component separation is done and how to choose between laparoscopic and open repair. Those are pages, and they are the same pages that win the searches above.

Why: AI Visibility: 3 of 10 tracked questions return you, 7 return nothing.

One note on why these are all pages and not blog posts. A blog post gets read once and slides down the feed. A procedure page is a permanent address for one search, it earns links, it feeds the map, and it is the thing AI quotes. Your site has 51 pages against 101 tracked search terms, and 65 of those terms are not ranking yet. Every page on this list is built to be a door into the practice that stays open. All of it is yours, and it stays yours.

What this means for your phone

Pages, not blog posts. The reason is in the numbers above and spelled out below.

This is what we already owe you, not a menu.
Data Sources
LIVE

The data behind every number.

Every number on this page came from a system you can log into and check yourself.

Nothing here is modeled, blended, or estimated. Where we could not count something, we said so on the page rather than filling the hole with a guess.

Two notes on the call data. We do not publish caller names, numbers, or recordings anywhere in this report. You are a medical practice and that information does not belong on a web page, even one only you can see. And one CallRail test call from the day the number was installed has been removed from every figure, because it was us, not a patient.

The one remaining hole is what happened after each call. That needs your scheduling system, and it is the next thing worth connecting.
